Belfast Birthday with my Boy
Last weekend, I had a lovely trip to Belfast with my son.
For his birthday last year, he expressed an interest in visiting Ireland, especially after learning about the Titanic in school. As a family, we decided to prioritise spending quality time together, so when the chance came up, I booked our tickets, and off we went!
If you’re considering a visit to the Titanic exhibition, I highly recommend it. We spent a couple of hours exploring it and we took part in the family quiz to keep things engaging for Mac. To add to the fun, I surprised him with a stay at the Titanic Hotel nearby, and his reaction was priceless. It’s moments like these that create lasting memories, reminding us that life is too short not to travel and enjoy together.
If you were thinking about going, a day trip to Belfast is also a great option. You can easily fit in the Titanic tour, and we did the open-top bus tour to learn about the city’s history, on Saturday. Plus, we enjoyed sampling the local food and, of course, chasing Pokemon along the way!
